FDH Electronics is seeking for an Accounts Receivable Manager within the Electronics Division, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate collections, managing credit risk, and fostering strong customer relationships. Working within a specialized team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments, including Sales, Finance, and Customer Service, to support financial objectives and maintain healthy cash flow essential for sustaining and expanding operations in the aerospace and electronics sectors.Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, cash applications, and reconciliations, to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of receivables
- Evaluate and establish customer credit limits by assessing financial risk and conducting credit reviews for new and existing clients, ensuring alignment with the company's risk tolerance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, resolving issues related to payments, disputes, and other AR-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor and analyze AR aging reports, identifying at-risk accounts and implementing proactive measures to reduce delinquency and improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
- Work closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams to align on customer accounts, ensuring transparency and consistency in account handling and resolution of invoicing disputes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to AR management, implement internal controls, and support audits as needed
- Supervise, train, and mentor the AR team, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous improvement in AR practices
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements, including automation, to increase efficiency, accuracy, and reduce manual workload within AR operations
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable management
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role; aerospace or electronics industry experience is a plus
- Insightful, hands-on leader with strong leadership and communication skills
- Highly skilled in engaging teams to deliver results in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong project management leadership, knowledge, and skills, covering planning and execution, including ability to rapidly assess risk and identify/resolve issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be computer savvy and learn company proprietary software programs
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, conditional formulas, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Ability to meet deadlines quickly and accurately, multi-task, and work well under pressure with changing priorities
