UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking an Activities Aide to join our team at the Living Centers in Geneva NY! Activities Aide help to facilitate daily engaging activities with our residents. - This position requires you to be CNA certified within 6 months of hire, we offer a program at no additional cost to you! Once you become CNA certified, pay increases. POSITION SUMMARY: The Activities Aide assists in providing organized activities that are appropriate to the needs and interests of each resident, encourages their voluntary choice of activities and participation, and promotes and maintains a sense of usefulness to self and others. Prepares initial and quarterly assessments. Maintains attendance sheets. Assists with performance improvement surveys. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Minimum: High school education or equivalent.
