A typical day for a Resident Programs Assistant includes:

Assisting in the coordination, direction and delivery of wellness and recreation programs to meet specific needs of our Residents

Escorting Residents to and from activities

Appropriately and descriptively charting Resident progress and behavior

Making regular in-room visits to Residents either uninterested or unable to participate in Group activities

Resident Programs Assistant Requirements:

High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Positive, energized Team Player

Must be a self-starter and able to work independently

High attention to detail and excellent at follow-up

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Previous experience/direct programming experience with older adults preferred

Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
