Activities Assistant Leader: The Activities Assistant-Leader will assist in creating/providing appropriate social activities for the home's Assisted Living and Memory Care residents while maintaining the respect and dignity of each person. The Activities Assistant-Leader Assists in creating a monthly activity calendar, implements scheduled recreation activities, assists in coordinating appropriate entertainment, taking direction from the Activity Director and Memory Care Coordinator. This person also attends/supervises residents on community outings, and attends/assists in resident special events/holiday celebrations. He/she will also update the orientation boards in both living areas on a daily basis. Also, cleans, disinfects and straightens up each area after an activity is complete and understands resident's needs for patience, tactile stimulation, sensory stimulation, redirection and remains calm in all types of situation. Part-Time position is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 11am - 7pm. Be part of our Promenade family and ensure our residents enjoy socialization in a stimulating and supportive environment.
