An overview of this position entailsThis position is responsible for assisting with organizing, promoting, and facilitating comprehensive activities and services that promote healthy, activity-enriched lifestyles for participants utilizing these seven dimensions of wellness: social, intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual, environmental, and vocational.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDemonstrate ethical and professional behavior that align with the values of the comapny's Life Adjustment Program, including Service 1, how we treat the residents, and Service 2, how we treat each other. Service 1 and Service 2 is demonstrated by setting boundaries, being predictable, consistent, kind, and transparent. Organize and facilitate recreational activities both on and off the Bacon Campus for residents by preparing for outings, loading and unloading residents for transportation to and from outings, and interacting with and supporting clients during activities, etc. Appropriately communicate the needs of both resident and staff to ensure good customer service for the overall well-being of residents and their natural supports, staff, and vendors. Provide behavior management techniques in accordance with individual resident's care plans and report concerns regarding health or behavior concerns/changes to appropriate personnel. Complete required documentation promptly, accurately, and legibly. Certified medication administration staff will maintain records in accordance with specific procedures, rules, and regulations. Assist participants with activities of daily living to include toileting, walking, meal support, medications, and transferring based on the individual's care plan while on and off campus, including overnight activities. Maintain professional boundaries with all residents enrolled in any company program or residing at any of our company's facilities, all while maintaining the dignity, confidentiality, privacy and rights of every resident. Maintain equipment and supplies and report damaged equipment to appropriate personnel. Assist in performing housekeeping duties as needed to maintain cleanliness of the Fitness Center and surrounding grounds including, but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, trash removal, stocking supplies, disinfecting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas, and cleaning and tidying all areas of the facility. Support fellow staff with recreational/exercise activities including planning, facilitating, cueing, documenting, and other duties. May be required to assist in other roles as census and staffing needs occur.GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRegular attendance/punctuality. Attend team meetings and trainings as scheduled. Cooperate with others. Be completely honest. Understand and comply with all ompany, Life Adjustment Program, and State and Federal rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
