Activity Leader - Castle Rock Home Care : Job Details

An upbeat Social Adult Daycare in the Bronx is seeking a motivated and experienced Activity Leader to work at our Adult Daycare in Bronx. The ideal candidate will have a fun, upbeat pleasant demeanor, excellent communication skills and prior long-term care experience!

Duties Include:

• Engage residents and determine their interests
• Assist in establishing monthly activity calendars
• Assist in recreational programs to meet the interests of the residents
• Assist in religious services at the Facility
• Ability to create calander of activities
• Assist in monthly festivities and parties at the facility
• Assist volunteers during their activities

Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• Must be upbeat, energetic, enthusiastic, and have a caring personality.
• Design & implement recreational programs for Seniors
• Must be very organized and have the ability to lead others
• Strong computer skills necessary
• Positive, outgoing, upbeat personality is a must
• Be self-directed; have strong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task
• A passion for working with the elderly population
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Bilingual is a must

· Schedule: 8:00am-2:30pm

• Starting pay $17.00 per hour
