Technical Writer - GUS Perdikakis Associates : Job Details

Job Summary:Our engineering services client who provides packaging process engineering, validation, technical writing and project management services for a variety of manufacturers in the Food & Beverage, Health & Beauty, Cosmetics, Nutritional, Medical Devices, and Pharmaceutical industries currently seeking a Technical Writer to support current project effort (site upgrades) for a consumer products manufacturing client facility in Iowa City, IA.Initial Duties include but are not limited to:

• Work with corporate and site engineering team as well as other contracted resources to support site upgrade project efforts
• Gather knowledge and information on project needs
• Create Standard Operating Procedures for the Packaging and Manufacturing Processes. These procedures would include safety, setup and cleaning procedures.
• Build other appropriate documents to meet project deliverables
• Provide on-site support as required thru various project phases (estimate 100% on-site work).
