Overview of Adherence Technology Coordinator

The Adherence Technology Coordinator is a specialized position designed to assist agencies with making the best use of Adherence software's. This role will serve as the bridge between the pharmacy and agencies. Because of the nature of the agencies we serve, this position will require a moderate amount of travel, work outside of normal business hours for routine and emergency assistance, and the ability to interact with a diverse group of people from patients to executive teams. This position requires strong communication skills, organizational skills, remaining flexible, and the ability to project manage through transitions.

Responsibilities and Expectations

1. Implementation Management

  • Assist new agencies with transitioning patients to Adherence software. Develop relationships with key stakeholders. Provide consultation, training, and logistical support around related services.
  • Track status of implementation, facilitate regular (IE weekly) status meetings during onboarding and go-live.
  • Meet with agency staff, patients, and other stakeholders to introduce adherence technologies and respond to any concerns or questions. Remain available throughout to all stakeholders.
  • Provide agencies with consultation and recommendations around changes to medication management based on pain points and how we can/cannot help.
  • Warm handoff to operations team, while remaining a resource for customer concerns or changes relating to adherence technology.
  • Coordinate transition to eMAR and other software offered.
  • Participate in kick-off, customization, and training meetings for eMARs and other products. Provide consultation and recommendations based on knowledge of agency and regulatory environment.
  • Provide superuser and staff trainings in eMAR, and other services. And remain a resource for ongoing training support as needed.

2. Account Management

  • Serve as ongoing resource to agencies and operations team
  • Provide tactical support as needed and communicate recommendations to appropriate parties

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting healthcare
  • 2+ years managing / supporting project management
  • 2+ years supporting a technology solution
  • Previous experience with EHR/EMR solutions
