DescriptionThe Department of Biology PLV at Pace University seeks a part-time adjunct instructor with teaching or professional experience in Basic Microbiology and General Biology.

• Teaches assigned in-person laboratory courses in discipline.
• Plans, organizes and delivers lessons.
• Provides feedback to students to promote academic success.

Requirements

• At a minimum, a master's degree in Biology and/or a related field, doctorate preferred
• Appropriate level of education based on rank
• Experience in microbiology laboratory techniques and/or organismal biology (phylogenetics, botany, comparative anatomy) preferred
• Prior teaching experience at the higher education level preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
