Posting DetailsPosition InformationJob Title Adjunct Faculty - Art & Design Department Art and Design - 21050 Pay Grade Job Category Adjunct Faculty Job Summary The East Tennessee State University Department of Art & Design invites enthusiastic and experienced colleagues to become part of our part-time instruction team. We are currently seeking qualified applicants to teach on-ground foundation courses beginning in spring 2025. Courses may include Core 1 (basic 2D design), Core II (basic 3D Design), Drawing, and 4D Design (basic extended/expanded/time-based media).All positions at East Tennessee State University are contingent upon sufficient funding. - MFA in Studio Art or equivalent professional experience.
- At least one semester of teaching experience as an instructor of record at the college level in Art and Design Foundations in one or more of the following (or equivalent): Drawing, 2D Design, 3D Design, and 4D Design (electronic/extended/time-based/expanded media).
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to teach Art Appreciation.
- Experience teaching in a wide range of media, including analog and digital.
