Adjunct Faculty Open Rank - Department of Health, Physical Education and Dance

FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Health, Physical Education and Dance at Queensborough Community College invites applications for an adjunct faculty to teach courses in nutrition and health education.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform teaching, research, and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise.
  • Share responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

    • QUALIFICATIONS

    For Adjunct Assistant Professor: Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent.

    For Adjunct Lecturer: Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, Master's degree preferred.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Credentialed as a registered dietitian and experience in the field is highly preferred.
  • Training and experience teaching online and in-person modalities.
  • Experience teaching a diverse student body at a community college.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students and colleagues and respond to requests in a timely manner.

    • COMPENSATION

    Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00
