- Teach college-level courses in the identified discipline to a diverse student body using effective teaching strategies. Maintains a high level of excellence in teaching by communicating and interacting effectively with students enrolled in courses.
- Prepares materials needed for course instruction and testing. Keeps student records and adheres to course schedules.
- Utilize learning management systems to communicate with students. Conducts lectures, discussions, and other teaching activities. Relates instruction and materials to course objectives.
- Provides students with course syllabi and correlates grade assignments with skill and course competency.
- Submits grades, reports, and records in a timely manner.
Minimum and Additional Requirements A master's degree in the identified discipline, or a masters degree in any discipline and 18 graduate semester hours in the identified discipline.
