Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Assists with skills instruction within Public Safety Professions programs (Fire, LEA, EMSP).

Required Education

* Fire Academy - Texas Commission on Fire Protection - Basic Firefighter Certification

* Emergency Medical Services - TDSHS Paramedic Certification

* Law Enforcement Academy - TCOLE Basic Peace Officer license

Required Experience

1 year experience with a paid or volunteer Fire/EMS/Police department.

Preferred Education

Associate degree in related field, Instructor certification in related field.

Preferred Experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with skills training, assess skills competency of students, act as participants during scenario training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
