The New Hope-Solebury School District is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Curriculum and Operations Department. This is a full-time, 12-month position.Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- prepare communications, as well as, update and publish office documents regarding initiatives, events, and deadlines
- Answer telephone, record messages and respond to requests for information
- Facilitate the scheduling and preparation of meetings, appointments, and work events
- Maintain electronic and paper file and mail organization
- Maintain professional development and substitute database in Frontline
- Update website by providing information to the Communications Manager on a regular basis
- Maintain homeschooling files in compliance with State requirements
- Provide Help Desk technical advice and on-floor technical help when needed
- Support Data Specialist with registration and database maintenance
- Work with online systems as needed to support department needs
- Support in registration, enrollment, and communications for the Virtual Academy
- Coordinates the use of District Facilities by outside organizations
- Coordinates use of District van usage
- Coordinates One to One Students device payments
- Cover the front desk for the receptionist when necessary
- Responsible for other duties or work as assigned
Qualifications
- Administrative Assistant experience, preferably in a school setting
- Technology skills.
- High school diploma, minimally.
- Other coursework or training.
