Duties Description The Administrative Assistant (AA) 1 will provide critical administrative support to the Geneva District Office. They will primarily be responsible for assisting the engineers within the water program. This will include handling and interpreting complex data and how it will impact the operators. The incumbent will enter all water quality data and compliance reports into SDWIS, organize the flow of paper in the office, triage the mail, file documents, and process permit and enforcement action fees. The AA 1 will also have limited responsibility for appropriately forwarding calls, taking messages, forwarding messages to appropriate staff, and covering other sections of telephone operations as needed. A two-year traineeship leading to Administrative Assistant 1, Grade 11, is in effect.
