The Office Associate provides administrative support for the TARDISS leadership team including th PI, Center Director and Administrative Director serving as a primary point of contact for the Center. The Office Associate is responsible for managing the Center-wide calendar and scheduling meetings and events; prepares confidential and routine correspondence and documents; establishes procedures and manages procurement process; ensures purchasing compliance with all university policies and procedures and grant related terms and conditions; assists with account reconciliation; coordinates with external units on TARDISS related procurement; manages travel requests/reimbursements (Workday), assists in preparing administrative reports requiring thorough knowledge of university and sponsor policies and TARDISS programs and collects and analyzes data to provide information required for various reporting obligations; assists Administrative Director and/or Grant and Contracts Specialist in proposal preparation, including requesting, reviewing, and compiling supporting documents, researching the cost of travel, and expenses for grant budgets; manages day-to-day operation of the TARDISS administrative space, manages building access and maintains office supplies; provides oversight for the TARDISS website(s), databases, and newsletters; trains student employees; assists with events managing space, catering and technology needs; limited evenings and weekends may be required.
Additional Information:
This position may require some travel for hosting site visits, team meeting and other events associate with the needs of the TARDISS program.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
The salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
