PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Supports the mission, core values and customer service of Dialysis Care Center LLC (DCC). Adheres to the Dialysis Care Center Policies and Procedures and Compliance Program including all state and federal regulatory requirements. The Medical Administrative Assistant performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mail distribution and filing. Coordinates and maintains records. Creates and modifies various documents using Microsoft Office. Manages inventory, supplies and costs. PRIMARY DUTIES / ACTIVITIES: Performs administrative and office support activities. Duties may include greeting patients and visitors, fielding telephone calls, word processing, creating spreadsheets and filing.

- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Participate in individual & group projects as directed by management
- Other duties, as assigned
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
- Responsible for supporting the values and customer service standards of DCC.
- Accountable for outstanding customer service to all staff, clients and vendors
- Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
- Initiates action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Extensive software skills, Internet research abilities are required.
- Good presentation & communication skills
- Must be productive & resourceful with the ability to meet deadlines

EDUCATION:
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- Administrative certification, a plus

The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. The work environment is also characteristic of a dialysis center or a patient's home and as such the employee may be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/ materials.
