Summary:Jefferies LLC is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Equity Research department in Houston or New York. The ideal candidate should be a team player, must exhibit strong attention to detail, communication skills, be adaptable to change, possess an ability to multi-task, and be efficient in a fast-paced, often demanding work environment. Essential aspects to success in this role are accuracy, follow-through, proactivity, and the ability to work with other teams and interdepartmentally in a timely fashion. We see this as a key opportunity to see further promotion from within the role within the team for those eager to move up. Responsibilities include:
  • Administrative support for analyst and their team
  • Liaising with team on confirming daily calendar of calls and events each day
  • Coordinating often complex travel arrangements according to Jefferies policies using SAP/Concur, including acquiring appropriate visas and approvals
  • Creating and submitting Travel & Expense reports using Concur
  • Support with heavy event planning, booking, scheduling, and registering of guests in our systems
  • Maintaining Analysts' contact and distribution lists
  • Managing email blasts to clients and industry contacts on a daily basis
  • Assisting with the processing and follow up of expert calls and events
  • Providing general office support, including ordering supplies, greeting guests, booking rooms, and coordinating with facilities as needed
  • Engaging with potential industry experts, vettings and overall conference management.
Required:
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word is essential
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance
  • SAP/Concur, Excel and PowerPoint experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills and ability to maintain confidentiality, given the sensitive nature of our business
  • Administrative experience supporting multiple teams
  • Ability to multi-task and anticipate team needs
  • Bachelor's degree
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $90,000 - $115,000. The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
