About the Administrative Assistant positionWe are looking for an Administrative Assistant who will support the Executive Office by performing event planning, secretarial, and administrative tasks. The position is full-time and includes paid leave and benefits. The position requires 5+ years of experience in office support or assistant positions. The successful candidate must be an active member of a Southern Baptist church. Administrative Assistant responsibilities are:
- Help supervisor arrange daily schedule, setting up meetings, travel, speaking engagements and monitoring agenda
- Help supervise the performance of clerical and ministry assistant staff
- Receive and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
- Manage office filing system and legal files
- Keep and maintain financial records
- Assist supervisor with monitoring team budget and account reconciliation
- Event planning and coordinating
Administrative Assistant requirements are:
- 5+ years' experience of working in an assistant or office support position
- MS Office knowledge and English proficiency
- Strong organizational and time management skills,
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Confidentiality and discretion
- Bachelor's Degree
