.JOB SUMMARYThe F.A.C.T. Administrative Assistant is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the non-clinical operations of the F.A.C.T. Program. Functions include direct support to staff in both the office and the field. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The administrative assistant participates in the daily treatment team meetings.
- Serves as a liaison between participants and staff, including attending to the needs of office walk-ins and calls from patients and natural support.
- May assist with patient transportation when needed.
- May deliver medications to patients and document patient self-administration of medications
- The entire team will rotate on-call, working evening hours, and weekend coverage, therefore must be available for rotation of these changing hours
- Experience in Utilization Management of patient benefits is desired but not required.
- Other duties as assigned or needed as per program requirements.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- General climate-controlled health care setting.
- Most work is completed while seated at a desk using standard office equipment.
- Interface with patients in an outpatient or acute care inpatient environment.
- Fast-paced. Multi-tasking requires above-average time management skills. Team approach.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum High School graduate or GED
- Must be organized, have attention to detail and follow-up, strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office
- Minimum age of 21 years old or older with a valid Florida Driver's License and reliable personal transportation
- Excellent interpersonal skills in communicating with patients, staff, and providers.
