ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT with Food & Beverage experience

  • FULL TIME - 40 Hours a week, 11 am - 7 pm
  • $25/hr (temp to perm)
  • 1-3 years' experience
  • Immediate Start
  • Private membership club seeks a detail-oriented and dynamic Administrative Assistant to provide support to the food and beverage team.
  • The position is initially offered on a temporary basis with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering phones, typing menus.
  • May be assisting with catering (excel will be used), typing contacts.
  • Must be comfortable and flexible with working near the kitchen, banquets and the dining room

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Work well independently by exercising discretion and judgment but at the same time part of a tight knit team.
  • Flexible, takes initiative, anticipates needs, and adapts to situations as they arise
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of professional administrative experience
  • Strong technical skills: Microsoft Suite ( Excel, Word, Outlook )
  • Experience with a POS system, i.e., Micros, is a plus
  • Attention to Detail, consistently attending to the many small pieces that must be assembled into an organized whole; follows up on missing or outstanding items; resolves unanswered questions needed to address a problem; keeps the larger picture in mind while tending to the smallest of details.
  • Time Management - is able and willing to focus time on tasks that contribute to organizational goals; uses time effectively and efficiently; values time and respects the time of others; concentrates their efforts on the most critical priorities; can appropriately balance priorities.
  • Team Player- excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
