Description
  • Provide diversified assistance to the Director by ensuring adherence to guidelines and interventions as it pertains to state and federal accountability and oversee the day-to-day operations of the office. Prepare reports and presentation materials. Receive and responds to correspondence, directs visitors and schedules meetings.
  • Ensure reports, applications, along with state and federal mandated evaluations, department-related documents, board documents, sanctions and appeals with the State Office for school accountability.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Director regarding the status of federal and state accountability processes, sanctions, and procedures.
  • Assist in the processing of documents pertaining to state and federal accountability as well as adherence to guidelines and timelines in their completion.
  • Ensure timely notification of department staff regarding issues relating to federal and state accountability policies, procedures, and practice.
  • Maintain daily attendance records and submit monthly payroll on Oracle.
  • Prepare requisitions for office materials, monitor available funds, verify the receipt of materials, and generate budget reports as requested.
  • Answer incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff, and provide general information to employees, parents, and the public.
  • Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A equivalency) required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Four (4) years of directly related experience; school district experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in keyboardingword processing, spreadsheets, and file maintenance.
  • Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of district personnel and the public.
