Job SummaryJob SummaryPOSITION BEGINS March 3, 2025. Under general supervision of the Principal, to act as secretary to relieve the administration of a variety of office and administrative detail work; to receive and handle a constant flow of contacts from pupils, teachers, and the public; and to do related work as required, as well as handle all aspects required of the attendance office. During the regular course of work employees may have access to or gain information regarding privileged information. Privileged information may include student and/or parent information as well as information regarding fellow employees. It is expected that employees of the Lassen Union High School District will not release any privileged information about students, staff, labor relations, or any topic properly confined to a closed session of the Board.View Job DescriptionRequirements / QualificationsQualifications: Two years of increasingly responsible secretarial and clerical experience, preferably including at least one year of experience in a school district; high school diploma or equivalent. Formal training in clerical, secretarial, or related field is desired but not mandatory. Type at a net speed of 50 words per minute; operate a variety of office machines. Experience with AERIES and attendance is a plus.
