Where you will work:

The Cypress Bend facility is in the historic Mississippi River Delta and produces bleached paperboard and bleached Kraft pulp, used in the production of folding cartons, commercial print paperboard, carded packaging, and cup stock. This facility boasts over 300 talented employees and stretches across 730 acres. Clearwater Paper employees are proud to manufacture a high-quality product for an essential industry.

Cypress Bend is a rural community with close access to the Mississippi River. What you will do:

This position provides administrative support to our wood procurement team, working on-site in our Warren, AR office.

Administrative Support

* Facilitates business communications between managers, staff and outside business contacts by coordinating meetings, including preparing presentations, coordinating caterings and equipment.

* Routes incoming mail as appropriate; prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including email, faxes and UPS shipments.

* Prepares confidential correspondence for manager(s) and his/her direct reports.

* Organizes and maintains effective filing system and records.

* Communicates with and assists vendors on an as needed basis.

* Monitors and communicates with vendors insurance and certification requirements/needs and maintains those files.

* Processes and reviews expense reports when necessary

* Inventories and purchases operating supplies and maintains supply budget for the fiber group.

* Assists in coordinating the collection of materials for the annual 3rd party audits (FSC, SFI, PEFC); maintains files and helps present file evidence during audits.

* May take calls after hours to assist suppliers and direct them to the appropriate fiber team personnel as needed.

* Responsible for setting up new vendors in appropriate systems; revises pricing as directed; creates scan cards for chip suppliers; maintains vendor files.

* Monitors all vendor files and ensures contracts and price agreements are up to date, mailed, signed, and returned by communicating with vendors.

Management Support

* Generates KPI reports for manager, including scorecards, inventory reports, shipment analyses, and multiple variance analyses.

* Maintains and computes daily wood inventories; reconciles discrepancies.

* Provides analysis of cost activities and reconciliation of monthly, quarterly, and/or year-end variances of actual costs to prior month, budget, and forecasts.

* Works cooperatively with the various team(s) in efforts to better focus strategies for improvement.

* Participates in employee involvement teams.

* Works with teams in creating high level presentations.

* Process deductions.

Special Projects

* Support sales and marketing with data organization and analysis.

* Participates in special projects as assigned.

What you will need:

To be successful in this position, we are looking for candidates with the following:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred

* Minimum three years of office administrative experience required

* Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and have exceptional organizational skills, be self-motivated, able to set priorities and maintain confidentiality.

* Customer service oriented supporting a diverse customer group.

* Previous report generation, leadership support and analytical skills desired.

* Self-directed and high initiative with ability to handle variety of tasks in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

* Must be able to work with a diverse group of people in a professional manner and be able to handle several work tasks concurrently.

* Provide needed support to 24/7, 365-day manufacturing operations.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Access, SharePoint, and website administration is preferred.

* Some mental, visual, physical fatigue from computer terminal use and prolonged sitting.

* Reading.

* Keyboarding.

* Communication.

* Office and manufacturing environment.

* Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment in the manufacturing environment.

* Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
