Position Summary:
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is accepting applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant II in the Student Access and Academic Success department. The Administrative Assistant provides support for Multicultural Student Affairs, International Programs, and the McNair Scholars Program. This position spends 50% of the day supporting Multicultural Student Affairs and 50% of the day supporting International Programs and the McNair Scholars Program.
Serving as the primary point of contact for the office, the Administrative Assistant provides exceptional customer service and makes appropriate referrals in response to inquiries. This role involves handling walk-ins, phone calls, and written requests from students, staff, parents, etc. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing departmental communications, including email correspondence, office newsletters, and maintaining the department's website.
This is a full-time benefit and leave eligible position with a wage of $18.00 per hour.
