Required to drive to perform office related tasks and errands.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, managing calendars, and maintain related files
- Registers staff for training courses and make travel arrangements
- Maintains and publishes the department's training calendar
- Organizes and maintains physical and/or electronic records for assigned area
- Coordinates and books training venue, prepares materials and ensures equipment set-up
- Facilitates effective communication by sending out calendar invites, reminders, and follow-ups when necessary
- Creates and edits a variety of documents, records, and spreadsheets
- Records staff training records
- Completes monthly reports, correspondence, and handles confidential material
- Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a combination of education and experience in related field
- Three (3) years of experience in professional office environment
- Ability to successfully pass a typing test with a minimum of 40 WPM
