Position Summary:

This role will perform administrative support to the Office Services Manager. Assist with coordinating services essential to the operation of the office. This role is an entry-level position, and a great opportunity for someone who's looking to start their career in a corporate environment!

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintain files according to Company established system.
  • Retrieve files per staff requests and deliver in a timely fashion.
  • Re-file previously retrieved files on a daily basis.
  • Assist with preparation of files for destruction.
  • Transport files to/from off-site warehouse.
  • Perform basic filing and phone functions in support of the Office Services Manager.
  • Perform appropriate data entry in preparing letters, reports, lists and other records.
  • Handle telephone inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Assist with ordering basic supplies as well as obtaining specialty products.
  • Sort and distribute office mail.
  • Accurately process vendor invoices.
  • Assist with completion of business presentations including copying and binding.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance good working relationships with all levels of staff from administrative to executive level.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Your qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to do basic math computations.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team structured environment to meet common goals, objectives and deadlines.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage work to meet deadlines with general supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible when needed.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
