Position: Administrative Assistant

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay: $25 to $26/hour

Experience: 5+ years of administrative experience preferred.

Education: Degree in Public Administration, preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract to hire

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Greene Resources is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

  • Maintain several calendars and assist with travel planning.
  • Prepare communications such as emails, reports, and other correspondence.
  • Input and update information in databases and spreadsheets.
  • Schedule and coordinate committee meetings with the Executive Director and Committee Chairs.
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and PowerPoint presentations for meetings.
  • Handle meeting minute preparation and distribution.
  • Become proficient in the AV systems used for all meetings.
  • Distribute tickets and parking passes to staff and board members.
  • Create Event Notices for distribution to Board Members & Staff / Purchase event tickets for board members upon request.
  • Maintain records and documents, process invoices, and order catering for office functions
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Self-starter, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work while managing a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have a high degree of integrity and character.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills/interpersonal skills/proofreading ability.
