Entry-Level Paralegal Position

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to work with a team of high-level staff who support a team of seasoned lawyers and paralegals on interesting complex litigation and arbitration matters. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who desire to work on fascinating cases from clients around the world and practice at the highest level while having significant responsibility and front-line exposure. What Youll Do

This role will be performing administrative roles to high-level staff under two of the four umbrellas of legal support:

  • Human Resources includes providing support in planning firm events (i.e. retreats, birthdays, happy hour) and conducting onboarding and orientation of new hires.
  • Billing includes assisting in short- and long-term tasks related to invoices and expenses under the guidance of the billing specialist.
  • Information Technology includes assisting the IT specialist with large, complex issues or assisting firm members with resolving small and simple IT matters.
  • Office Management though assistance not necessary at the time of posting, includes handling HVAC, wifi, or A/C issues and maintaining pantry and office supplies.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree
    • Prior office and/or professional experience is preferred (1-3 years)
    • Accounting background and/or knowledge
    • Must be able to make a two-year commitment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and in writing
    • Self-motivated and proactive; takes instructions well
    • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
    • Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient; able to multi-task and prioritize the most critical work to meet deadlines

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • The anticipated pay range for this role is $55,000-$80,000. The actual offered base salary will be based on qualifications of the candidate, primarily their work experience and accounting and/or IT background.
