Position Overview

This position will provide general office support to the division including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and general administrative support. Additionally, the role involves performing various tasks as directed by the management team and providing backup for the Accounting Assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting visitors in reception area and coordinating the sign-in process.
  • Answering and directing incoming calls and sort daily mail.
  • Coordinating the scrap paperboard recycling process
  • Providing administrative support to the management team.
  • Providing clerical support such as filing, copying, scanning, maintaining/ordering office supplies and forms, etc.
  • Managing and organizing special projects and fundraising events as assigned.
  • Arranging catering for various meetings and helping coordinate event celebrations.
  • Providing support to Accounting Assistant.
  • Qualifications
    • Two years of experience in an office setting is preferred.
    • Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude and knowledge of general accounting practices are required.
    • Highly organized self-starter who can work independently with little supervision.
    • Ability to analyze, interpret, and edit reports.
    • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Excellent computer skills – proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Must be friendly, personable & have strong communication skills (verbal & written).
