This position will handle various administrative tasks, from supporting the Retail Banking Department, deliver internal and external customer service, while also upkeeping the office culture. In addition, you are expected to perform these tasks while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude. You are key in supporting the team and contributing to a productive work environment.Service Matters. We are looking for a team-oriented individual with a can-do attitude who can proactively step up and offer assistance when needed. JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Greet and welcome all customers to Security National Bank.
  • Maintain awareness of customer/employee flow in lobby at all times.
  • Answer phone and direct and/or assist customers.
  • Handle service related issues for customers including the following: wire transfers, account inquiry, verification of deposit, notary services, online/e-banking concerns, and etc.
  • Maintain a basic knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Attend training sessions and department meetings.
  • Refer services to new and existing customers after assessing customer needs and determining which financial service can best satisfy those needs.
  • Back-up to the Teller Line staff as needed or directed, including other local branches.
  • Complete reporting and account balancing requests.
Required for this position: Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills. Has great attention to detail, understanding of banking, ability to identify missing items, advanced organizational skills, ability to work under deadlines, independent thinking, analytical skills, self-motivation, strong oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated teamwork.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Cash handling experience
  • Customer service experience
  • 2 years CSR/Teller experience preferred.
  • Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed
  • Team-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
  • Service-oriented, polite, and respectful
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion
HOURS:Regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
