Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is adding an Administrative Assistant to their Durnan Group team in Rockville Centre, NY. The primary responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant would be focused around support of Sales and Account Management team to generating new business as well as maintain existing business. Under minimal supervision, this employee performs technical office support functions to include a broad working knowledge of standard office equipment, department operations and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Demonstrate good judgment in knowing when to handle a problem or refer it to a higher level. Essential Functions
- Conduct Policy Checking & Issuance of Certificates of Insurance as needed.
- Assist Account Managers with materials and presentations needed for prospect and renewal meetings
- Provide Administrative support to Sales team and Account Management as assigned
- Assist the Accounting team with processing accounts receivable
- Coordinate meetings/visits with carriers and clients as needed
- Keep immediate supervisor well-informed of activities, results of efforts and problems identified/potential problems; recommends corrective actions to immediate supervisor
Competencies and Qualifications An ideal candidate will have:
- Two years of executive/administrative support
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products
- Demonstrate polished interpersonal skills, high energy and flexibility
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills
This range represents the estimated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to performance, location, and experience.
