Job Description:

BAE Systems, Electronic Systems is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to provide support in many departments across the Endicott site. The position requires proven advanced, working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Must have strong collaboration, high level of judgement, and strong organizational skills. This position also requires a tremendous attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines while balancing multiple priorities. In this role you will also support the team by managing calendars for interviews, onboarding new hires, making travel arrangements and completing expense reports. Knowledge of Coupa and Concur is a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Organizational skills - ability to prioritize tasks, manage calendars, schedules and keep track of documentation (filing - electronically)

Proficient with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and email protocol, web-based applications and business processes and the use of office equipment

Communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, internal and external customers, with clear and concise command of grammar

Sound interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships

Adaptable in handling multiple tasks and customers without compromising quality, operating independently using judgment and time management

Timeliness, accuracy and attention to detail - approaching tasks from start to finish with proficiency, such as data entry and proofreading documents

Plan and manage internal and external events and provide hospitality

Maintain and order office, supplies and/or arrange catering Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School/GED and 6+ years of experience

Requires proven advanced working knowledge of commonly used Microsoft Office applications including an intermediate+ level of Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge and experience with travel and expense applications

Fast paced work environment, must be well organized and work well under pressure. Exerts normal physical energy associated mostly with sitting and may occasionally stand or walk to perform the work of the position.

May lift light office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds and/or operate technical equipment such as computers, printers and peripherals. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Associates Degree

Working knowledge of Concur - travel software

5+ years of experience performing administrative duties supporting on site and remote teams.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $36200 - $57900

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
