Administrative Assistant is responsible for a assisting senior staff and other members of the management team in various administrative and clerical duties to support the organization.
Qualifications:- Three to five years prior clerical or office experience
- Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize a variety of material required
- Typing proficiency and ability to operate office machines
- Must be professional and courteous and provide excellent customer service
Responsibilities and Expectations: - Drafts letters and documents as directed
- Schedules appointments for senior staff
- Maintains necessary document filing
- Makes employee name badges as necessary
- Coordinates meeting, lodging and food arrangements for Presbyterian Senior Living sponsored functions/ meetings
- Makes copies, sends faxes, scans and prints documents as necessary
- Greets and appropriately directs visitors
- Promptly answers the telephone and relays accurate information to staff
- May collect, sort and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail
- May prepare packages for shipment; receives packages via carrier and ensures proper delivery
- May be responsible for the maintenance of office supplies
- May receive and verify invoices for accuracy
- Performs other administrative or clerical duties as assigned
