Based at the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the Administrative Assistant reports to the Associate Professor and Chair of Clinical Specialties.
Responsibilities
Relieves supervisor of routine duties and completes ongoing tasks including:
* Originating written materials, transcribing dictation
* Scheduling and coordinating calendar and special events
* Maintaining files and databases
* Originating purchases and processing invoices
* Monitoring multiple budgets
* Assists with projects
* Answer questions, resolves problems
* Takes meeting minutes
* Maintains information for department and/or school
* Processes forms
* Liaison between students and faculty
* General administrative duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
* With a high school diploma as the highest level degree, 2-3 years of Administrative support experience are required.
* With an associates degree or higher as the highest level degree, 1-2 years of Administrative support experience are required.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, good computer skills, and solid administrative/organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and have good judgement.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Strong computer skills with the ability to organize virtual meetings, use of Zoom, Teams
* Ability to quickly learn new systems/software packages.
