Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as general administrative support resource for the office.
- Support several executives and respective departments with daily administrative tasks including; managing calendar scheduling and appointments, expense reports, arranging travel plans, itineraries and agendas, and compiling documents for meetings.
- Create and update files of various kinds; for example, documents, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Assist with event planning; office celebrations, annual holiday party, summer outing, Friday breakfasts, monthly anniversary/birthday celebrations, etc.
- Maintain conference room appearance by stocking necessary items, organizing, and preparing for meetings.
- Perform other administrative activities such as answering and directing phone calls, distributing mail, responding to emails, filing, typing, and working with internal and external clients.
- Manages inventory and ordering of office supplies and maintains office equipment.
- Greets visitors and directs visitors.
- Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.
Qualifications- Efficient in Microsoft office programs
- Proactive in thinking through processes and procedures to troubleshoot issues or concerns.
- Attention to Detail and organizational skills.
- Professional and Articulate in written and verbal communications.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
Education- High school diploma orGeneral Education Degree (GED).
Experience- Three to five years or more related work experience required.
- Previousadministrative support experience preferred.
Physical Demands- Physical demands for thisposition are light to moderate. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably todo the work. However, there may be walking, standing, bending or carrying oflight items (10-25 pounds) such as papers, office drink supplies, boxes of promotionalmaterials, office equipment, etc.
Work Environment- The work environment involves everydayrisks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such placesas offices, meeting and training rooms, residences, commercial vehicles, oroutdoors, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance oftrips and falls and observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc.
