Our client, an electric utility company, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.
**Job Title:** Administrative Assistant
**Location:** Fort Wayne, IN
**Pay:** $20.71/hr
**Duration:?** 12 months (potential to extend/convert)
**What's the Job?**
+ Review work order packets for accuracy and conduct various types of journal entries for corrections.
+ Communicate effectively with internal groups to support work related to Joint Use, Invoicing, and Field personnel.
+ Demonstrate strong customer focus by answering questions and assisting customers effectively.
+ Utilize problem-solving skills to handle assignments and seek guidance when necessary.
+ Participate in team meetings and presentations, contributing to department productivity.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or GED and 3 years of administrative work experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and familiarity with timekeeping and financial systems.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
+ Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
