Administrative Assistant
Downtown St. Louis, MO firm seeks organized, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills to provide administrative assistance to the company president and provide administrative support to international trade and professional associations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls; act as the point of contact for clients
- Written (email and letter) communication with clients
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail and shipments
- Book travel for staff and clients
- Schedule in-person meetings and videoconferences
- Draft memos and prepare communications
- Maintain filing system, database, and inventory
- Data entry
- Balance payment transactions
- Verify transactions are recorded correctly
- Assist in preparation of reports and financial statements
- Assist in event registrations and preparation
- Preparing for Board of Directors' meetings
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Data entry skills
- Ability to learn new database and reporting tools
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Bookkeeping experience helpful but not required
- Must be willing and able to work onsite at office
