Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to
- Maintains the Allied Health Student Application process following established procedures
- Prepares correspondence and documents for eligible Nursing candidates (confirmation letter, health records, background check, drug screening, CPR, orientation)
- Reviews and maintains required files for student confidential health and academic records
- Coordinates Nursing student orientation, registration, CPR certification, and uniform purchases
- Coordinates and supports special events including Student honors ceremonies, health fairs and activities
- Provides basic Nursing Program information to students
- Maintains scanning system for storage of Nursing Student and Program records
- Answers incoming calls, provides information, takes messages, screens requests on
- Assists faculty, staff, students and visitors with inquiries.
- Develops and maintains organized up-to-date filing systems, using hard and soft systems as appropriate.
- Schedules and maintains appointments and meetings.
- Maintains required faculty documentation and schedule of due dates.
- Assists faculty to make sure students are informed of changes in class schedules, including faculty absence including sending email notification for posting of classrooms to the appropriate parties.
- Assists program director to coordinate advisory committee meetings, maintain current membership lists, and distribute materials.
- Assists program director in collection of data and preparation of reports.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities consistent with the job description by performing duties as assigned.
