Administrative Assistant, Part-Time - Virginia Wesleyan University : Job Details

Job DescriptionVirginia Wesleyan University invites applicants for the part-time position of Administrative Assistant, to begin November 2024. The Administrative Assistant plays a pivotal role in establishing a system of high-quality data collection and analysis that reliably predicts those factors correlating with student persistence and attrition to drive informed interventions. This is a part-time, grant-funded position. The university is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Duties and Responsibilities

• Identifies, collects, and analyzes data to measure VWU's: Bridging, Connecting, and Building Success (BCB) program's goals and objectives
• Collects data pertaining to student persistence and attrition
• Collaborates with key grant personnel to analyze data which will inform interventions
• Documents expenditures
• Documents implementation of intervention strategies
• Collaborates with external evaluator to ensure consistent data collection
• Performs other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's/Bachelor's Degree
