Administrative Assistant - Purchasing (Production Support) 6+ month contract Irving, TX (Hybrid) Responsibilities
- Perform purchasing tasks related to IT equipment, including processing purchase requests, maintaining inventory control system, and maintaining the good order of the stock room.
- Perform systems administrative tasks which include performing daily and weekly tasks for Learning Management system, Intranet system, and Product Data Management system.
- Assist with IT billing tasks including processing of AP invoices, processing of expense vendor invoices, preparing billing allocations, and e-filing AP documents and invoices.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Business Administration or Accounting, or related studies.
- 2+ years of work experience should include customer service in an office environment, accounts payable, spreadsheet analysis and general office administrative duties.
- Proficient in Microsoft Access.
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and Salesforce.
- Ability to quickly learn computer software applications and procedures to administer them.
- Ability to answer telephones and provide courteous, prompt, and efficient customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and listening skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficient in general business math, including basic algebra and related logic.
- Ability to type and perform data entry with speed and accuracy.
