POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this position supports the office and plant in all areas of posting production data and sales order into various computer programs. Takes and delivers messages; provides information to callers. Types and proofreads correspondence generated by management and other staff, and researches and compiles special reports. Performs other related duties as assigned. Is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Answers telephone calls and refers calls to appropriate staff in the office and warehouse. Answers routine questions from plant employees. Greets and answers questions from visitors.
- Maintains radio / PA dispatch for entire plant.
- Enters sales orders into SAP and excel.
- Prepares reports as necessary. Types correspondence generated by management and other staff.
- Sends and distributes incoming faxes. Sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Maintains files for correspondence.
- Maintains inventory and purchases office supplies as needed for entire plant. Orders forms, stationery, business cards, etc. as needed by management personnel.
- Organizes plant tours and lunches for visitors.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Regular and Predictable attendance is required.
QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- Ability to communicate with employees, peers, subordinates, management, customers, outside agencies, etc.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Operating knowledge of basic office equipment to include calculator, computer, copy machine, document scanner, fax machine, postage machine, telephones and two-way radio.
- Regular and Predictable attendance is required.
