Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is On-Site at the location detailed in the job post.DescriptionWeyerhaeuser is searching for an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide support to our Strategy and Technology (S&T) team. As the Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our Timberlands S&T staff located in the South and Northeast regions of the United States as well as direct support to S&T Directors and Southern Managers. You will also manage specific assignments at the organization level and provide day-to-day administrative support to help facilitate and ensure safe and efficient operations. Occasional overnight travel may be required. This is a full time, non-exempt position, based in our Tree Improvement Center in Oliver, GA, which is approximately one hour north of Savannah. This position will eventually be on a hybrid schedule with the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days a week following a successful onboarding. Key FunctionsRole model safety, and support the administrative duties for the health and safety program and Weyerhaeuser's audit processProvide day-to-day support for general business functionsCoordinate meeting arrangements and help with scheduling/meeting preparation (room reservations, meals, and logistics)Manage the organization's safety, administrative, and technical documents as well as the administration of SharePoint pages and contentSupport the staff by being the site contact for contracted services, which include equipment and building maintenanceAdminister and coordinate ship/receive parcels and mail, maintain general office suppliesCollaborate with other S&T admins to flow the assigned work between areas to support the department as requestedManage company vehicle fleet administration (e.g., pick-up trucks and SUVs) Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree (or higher) in Office Administration strongly preferredAt least two years of administrative experience, preferably involved in activities such as contract maintenance, office supply management, vendor communication/coordination, facility records management, equipment maintenance coordination, health and safety compliance, and event support.General knowledge of sound office practicesExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (e-mail & scheduling), with the ability to learn company specific programsCommitment to safety for self and teamExceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, listening)Passion for and ability to facilitate changeAbility to shift priorities and manage time effectively, completing a variety of work with changing deadlines accurately and on timeDetail-oriented with excellent organization skillsWillingness and desire to develop and expand knowledge and skillsStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with team members and internal customers confidently and professionallyResults-oriented with a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude Ability to proactively anticipate and resolve issues with minimal directionWhat We OfferCompensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $48,175 - $72,193 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
