Job Description:

Emmanuel College seeks a dedicated and energetic professional to serve as Administrative Assistant to the President.

This individual provides support to the President and the President's Office team and is integral to the efficient day-to-day running of a multifaceted and often fast-paced operation. They must possess excellent communication skills (written and oral), along with strong organizational and project-management skills and attention to detail. The ability to act discreetly and maintain confidential information is essential. The candidate will have the skills to interact effectively with senior administrators, Trustees, faculty, staff, and external constituencies. Ideally, they will have experience and interest in higher education, and an appreciation for Catholic education.

* Coordinates the President's calendar including internal/external meetings, events and travel.

* Manages incoming telephone calls and provides professional presence in greeting visitors.

* Manages meeting logistics and preparation of materials.

* Maintains organization and accuracy of office files/archives.

* Reconciles invoices and expense accounts.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* Proficient in all Microsoft applications.

* Demonstrated ability to function as a team player.

* Ability to interact with discretion and maintain confidential information.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

* Outstanding organizational skills, flexibility, and adaptability.

* Dependability, sense of humor and enthusiasm.

* Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Available to work some evenings and weekends.
