SUMMARY:
Join a team of Board Coordinators who provide a wide variety of administrative support and customer service to 100 Boards across the country. This position's primary responsibility is to coordinate, organize, and maintain Board meetings, schedules, and records of a group of NHA Partner Boards. Coordinators work directly with a variety of people including Board Representatives, Board members, Principals, Authorizers, Board Legal Counsels, and several other departments within NHA.
This position will report directly to the Manager of Board Coordination and will work out of our Service Center which is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The candidate for this position should have effective time management skills, demonstrate great attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize work, possess strong computer skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Create, collaborate on, and distribute monthly Board meeting agendas and packets.
* Manage, evaluate, and edit documents received from a variety of Service Center teams.
* Process and ensure the accuracy of meeting minutes and paperwork, including signed documents, resolutions, and legal documents, distributing finalized paperwork as required.
* Manage compliance schedule with over 1,000 annual tasks for assigned schools.
* Actively identify issues with Board schedules, compliance due dates, or meeting documents and proactively implement strategies to ensure compliance and accurate information.
* Serve as a point of contact between Service Center staff, Board members, front office staff, and principals of assigned schools.
* Remain current on Open Meeting Law compliance for all states in which NHA operates. Maintain understanding of school management agreements, Board Bylaws, Charter Contracts, and other Board related documents, tracking new agreements through the OnBase Workflow.
* Partner with onsite Board Representatives in attendance at Board meetings to provide customer service support and information to Board members, Principals, DSQs, authorizers, and Board Legal Counsels.
* Maintain relationships with Service Center teams to obtain important data for Boards, annual reporting, and compliance requirements.
* Maintain numerous tracking spreadsheets, databases, CRM Partner Portal system, calendars, and school files.
* Provide assistance with charter renewals and the development of new school Boards where requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* A Bachelor's Degree is required.
* 1-2 years of general office experience is required.
* Customer Service experience is a plus.
* Strong computer experience, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize work (effective time management).
* Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
This is an in-person position at our NHA Service Center located at 3850 Broadmoor Ave., Grand Rapids, MI.
