About the Role:
Job Summary
Under the direction of the fellowship preceptor, the administrative fellow will support key initiatives and projects in each area. Fellows will participate in senior leadership team meetings and work as part of multi-disciplinary teams and independently to advance the strategic goals of Northeast Georgia Health System. This is a one-year paid position.
Minimum Job Qualifications
* Licensure or other certifications:
* Educational Requirements: Masters Degree. Broad knowledge of current perspectives in Healthcare Business Management and Administration, Clinical Practice Management, Clinical Research and Education, Hospital Administration and Management, Finance, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Information Systems and Managed Care.
* Minimum Experience: M.B.A. , M.H.A, M.H.S.A or related field or be a degree candidate who is scheduled to complete their degree before the fellowship starts. Previous healthcare industry experience such as an internship , externship, fellowship or applicable employment.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
* Responsible for the development and management of projects assigned.
* Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement and business development in accordance with hospital leadership.
* Assists in the development of long-term tactics and strategies.
* Actively supports overall business objectives and vision of the organization through collaborative development/implementation with service line directors, senior leadership and physicians.
* Works closely with key stakeholders and leaders to prioritize business information needs.
