About the Position: Serves as an Administrative Officer working closely with the management team to efficiently/effectively carry out administrative operations. Position may be filled at the NH-2 developmental NH-3 OR NH-3 (Pay band for NH-2 is equivalent to GS-05 - GS-11). (Pay band for the NH-3 is equivalent to GS -12 to GS-13). Responsibilities Perform administrative duties such as such as advisory services, facilities, logistics, personnel actions, training and records management. Obtain factual information in order to coordinate matters related to administrative function. Advise management and employees on new or revised procedures, policies and regulations in the areas such as personnel management, training administration and budget administration. Independently log in (using portal services), assign, and track to completion of all taskers specific to the organization received from higher level command. General Experience NH-2: Three years of progressively general work experience with one (1) year of the experience includes 1) Providing support in administrative functions, such as organizational development and tracking events and activities; 2) Assisting in finalizing documents using software applications as electronic mail, calendar, spreadsheet and/or database; and 3) Gathering and analyzing information in order to prepare reports. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01/GS-04). OR Education: Four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages. Specialized Experience NH-3: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Leading, directing, and providing administrative support functions, such as processing personnel actions; near and long term planning; organizational development and tracking events and activities; 2) Assisting in finalizing documents using software applications as electronic mail, calendar, spreadsheet and/or database; and 3) Request, collect, review, or analyze, information in order to prepare reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/band position in the Federal service or equivalent pay band (GS-11/NH-2) You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Information Management Organizational Awareness Technical Competence Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
