We do this by ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental laws.What we need YOU to do:Ohio EPA wants you to be our newest administrative professional (AP) with our Division of Drinking and Ground Waters (DDAGW) at the Southeast District Office in Logan.We're glad to see you. Let's talk!As an AP, you'll handle administrative duties and provide essential support for the DDAGW team. Much of your work will involve gathering data and coordinating reviews of sampling and operational data provided by public water systems (PWS). These required reports are a critical part of Ohio EPA's responsibility to monitor the state's public water systems to ensure they are providing safe, quality drinking water.Using the agency's databases, you'll generate technical reports, assist in coordinating their review, and upload and maintain these and other files in Ohio EPA's eDocument database. For situations involving compliance issues, you'll prepare correspondence for the affected PWS including summary reports, draft letters, and violation notices.We'll count on your multi-tasking skills to assist DDAGW/SEDO with other administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, processing mail, maintaining equipment and supplies, and processing bills for payment.
