Rochester, NY

JK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with a leading local packaging, design, and logistics company in search of a Project Manager and Administrative Assistant to join its team! We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to serve as a Senior Project Manager and Executive Assistant to the Director of Operations. This role is pivotal in managing multiple projects, delegating tasks, interpreting operational dashboards, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Lead and oversee multiple projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Task Delegation:

  • Assist the Director of Operations in delegating tasks to team members.
  • Monitor progress on delegated tasks and ensure timely completion.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.

Dashboard Analysis:

  • Interpret and analyze operational dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Generate insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive review.

Strategic Support:

  • Collaborate with the Director to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing business strategies.

Administrative Functions:

  • Manage the Director's calendar, including scheduling meetings and coordinating events.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Act as a point of contact between the Director, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication across various departments.
  • Represent the Director in meetings when necessary.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management and executive support roles.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations or manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software including excel and Microsoft office tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred.

Salary Range

$60-75k
