The Nevada County Probation Department is seeking a dynamic Administrative Services Assistant to complete our outstanding team! Join us and contribute to our community by supporting the courts and fostering positive change in the individuals we serve.
As an Administrative Services Assistant with Probation, you will:
* Play a lead role in supporting deputy probation officers in providing evidence-based practices and interventions for the clients we serve
* Assign work, help mentor and train legal office assistants (LOAs) and provide quality assurance for the LOA team
* Collaborate with Nevada County Superior Court and other justice and community partners
* Participate in planning and organizing administrative activities related to office management
* Share your talents and unique voice as a lead member of our dynamic team of legal administrative professionals!
The Administrative Services Assistant is an integral part of Probation's administrative support team that keeps our office running smoothly and efficiently. This position is crafted for individuals who have a Bachelor's degree and one year of responsible administrative experience. If you have knowledge of the justice system, personnel administration and training, and office management, that's a plus!
